Meet Farah, the ultimate cool-girl with killer style! She keeps it real while making hustling look easy! From throwing the hottest NYC-based party across the globe to selling vintage pieces online, the Bronx-native gal executes everything flawlessly while still serving looks. As she continues to rise and create a name for herself, she dishes about her style, what motivates her, and what it means to be a strong female.

What do you do for a living and what do you do that makes you feel alive?
By day, I work in the architecture and design industry. By night, weekend, and everything in between, I’m in the entertainment/music industry with Brunch Bounce [a no frills, open format genre day party]. Not only that, but also I insta-blog and sell vintage goods and jewelry online. In other words, I do the most, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. For now…

How did you start juggling all your endeavors?
I absolutely love being busy and trying different things. Corporate life happened because a girl has to pay rent. In late 2012, Brunch Bounce fell into my lap when I started dating my boyfriend and he was just initiating the party. Since we’re best friends, we constantly bounce ideas off each other while simply sitting on the couch at home. Blogging and selling goodies online happened organically as well, since I have such a passion for sharing beauty/fashion advice with my followers.

What inspires you and keeps you motivated?
I’m definitely inspired by bigger brands/people that have achieved what I’m/we’re striving to do. If they did it, why can’t we? Their accomplishments encourage me to work harder. I know in my heart that we’ll get there one day.

It’s important to foster sisterhood and like-minded individuals in your circle. I’m all for women doing dope shit, looking and feeling their best, while getting these coins.

How would you define the way you dress/express yourself and who/what influences your personal style?
My style is undefined, as I go with whatever mood I’m in that day. I can be super colorful one day, yet really neutral the next. I can get really funky with my looks or settle on a dress and heels. I’m very versatile, but it works for me. I get a lot of inspo from ‘90s and early 2000’s fashion – that style will never get old!

What are a few of your favorite underground gems in NYC?
Definitely the thrift stores in Bushwick! L Train Vintage and Second Time Around are some of my favorites.

Where do you plan on taking your lifestyle brand?
Honestly, I’m going with the flow right now and figuring it out as I grow my brand.

What has been one of your most exciting brand partnerships this year, thus far?
This one right here! Believe it or not, I never shot with a photographer before. I was always afraid to, so I’m glad I finally went for it.

What is your take on female empowerment and what does being a fearless, badass babe mean to you?
Women need each other. It’s important to foster sisterhood and like-minded individuals in your circle. I’m all for women doing dope shit, looking and feeling their best, while getting these coins. We all can do it!

To me, being a fearless, badass babe is knowing that you can do what men do and then some! It means saying what you feel, even if your voice shakes, knowing your worth, and not letting your insecurities and doubts stop you from pursuing your dreams.
