So, I'm currently enduring winter doldrums. I'm finding very little excitement and inspiration for style, and within my interest for art in general. Call it winter blues, but in short: new shit don't excite me no more. (Thank you, Drake, for summing up my sentiments in one lyric.)
I browsed my usual sources of inspo (Tumblr, Pinterest, my fave blogs, etc.), and I still felt unrefreshed. Eventually, style.com provided some relief with Thierry Mugler's Pre-Fall 2015 collection. Holy! I'm so impressed with the clean lines, exquisite tailoring, metal grommets, and contrasting fabrics. Very Versace-esque (think the metal pin dress style), except with just enough skin exposure. So sleek and bold! The collection is structured, with just the right touch of femininity and sexy.
